Branding & design

The goal of this project was to transform and combine multiple acquired companies into one group. It means that processes and procedures need to be aligned, product portfolio is combined and branding is made more uniform: different product brands are changed into one brand. The product lines need to get a "family look" in order to support the transition in the market.

Of course this kind of changes "hurt" on many levels and difficult decisions need to be made. Cultural differences need to be managed carefully and of course the market/customers need to be taken along in the process.

At the end there was a uniform, global understanding of the need and first implementations are realized. Uniform processes and procedures are implemented and first steps in product development towards one recognisable portfolio with a family-look that supports the strength of the new global brand, are finished.

new controller design

development of a new pumpless topping/pressurization unit to keep heating systems on the right prressure heating, fully self-commissioning with remote control (app) and GUI. Unit is developed with the family look of all  pressurization units (design, GUI, protocoll) and very recognisable as such.

new uniform family of keys

development of a new cilinder line for  globally.  With all different keys of different brands it was not recognisable. Target: make a key that people want to put on the table and proudly say "my doors are protected with ASSA ABLOY cilinders". First keys are introduced, keeping in mind that keys with chips (future) need to fi into this same design-line and have the family look.

family look integration

development of a new concept of de-airation of heating systems, using the design guidelines for the family look.  Unit is developed with the family look of all pressurization & degassing units  and very recognisable as  product family with all benefits & quality standards of the brand.
